Ma'ruf Club Urges to Organize a "National Grand Munajat"
Almost the whole citizens of this world nowadays condemn the Israeli's aggression against the civilians in Ghaza, Palestine. This recent attack was classified by the whole world (except the Israeli's allies) as an act of brutality, cruelty and inhumanity.
Nevertheless, despite of all those pressures being tendered up against the Israel, they seem to be senseless and continue with their violence without sympathy to murder hundreds of people including women and children. Thousands others are being tortured and injured in their own home.
Ma’ruf club congratulates those who are aware of the pains and sufferings of our Muslim brothers in Palestine. Series of demonstrations and rallies are a kind of contribution that we could initiate. That will portray to the whole world our concern about Palestine as well as express our protest and condemnation against the Israel and its accomplices.
However, justifiably to say that indeed, there is a better mean for us to occupy in assisting our brothers in Ghaza. It is prayers. Prayer is the best weapon to be utilized for our Muslim brothers and against the Israel and friends. We are optimistic that Muslim Malaysians are praying now and then for our brothers in Ghaza.
Here, Ma’ruf Club would like to urge the leaders of this State to organize a “National Grand Munajat” as a show of our oneness, solidarity and unity on this important issue. The Palestine Issue is an ummah issue. None of us should deny his/her obligation to be aware of and to contribute something to free Palestine.
Therefore, we challenge Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Dato’ Seri Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang as the top Malay Muslim leaders of this State to joint together in carrying out this common issue forward. Put aside your differences. This is the time to unite.
We believe that it will be the most glorious moment in the history of Malaysia if you could be together in Dataran Merdeka, holding a National Grand Munajat for Palestinians, with the support of all Muslim Malaysians regardless of their ideologies and political tendencies.
